Group Tumbling Classes

Group tumbling classes offer low Coach:Athlete ratios and are a great way to get consistent weekly training of your skills!

 Class Descriptions
If you have any questions about which class would be appropriate for your child please don’t hesitate to contact us! At CheerStrike we value perfection of skills before progression which we know leads to a strong foundation and sets athletes up for long term success with their tumbling. We do not allow athletes to move on to higher level skills until they have mastered the skills at the previous level. Our classes are highly drill/skill focused vs. repeated hands on spotting which leads to athletes being better prepared to perform skills independently sooner.

Level 1 Introductory Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on their level 1 skills such as cartwheels, forward rolls, handstands, bridges and bridge kickovers. 

Level 1 Advanced Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on higher level skills for level 1 such as back and front walkovers and connected tumbling skills for level 1. Must have a consistent fall back into bridge with kickover to register for this class. 

Level 2 Introductory Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on back and front handsprings and roundoff back handsprings, must have a consistent fluid back walkover to register. Athletes should remain in this class until they are performing a consistent standing back handspring and roundoff back handspring with no spotting & strong technique. 

Level 2 Advanced Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on connected Level 2 skills. Must have a consistent, technically strong standing back handspring and roundoff back handspring to register. Athletes should remain in this class until they can perform a roundoff double back handspring with a strong set and a connected double back handspring. 

Level 3 Introductory Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on running back tucks and who are working on strengthening their level 3 skills. Must have a consistent roundoff double back handspring with a strong set as well as connected standing double back handspring to register. Athletes should remain in this class until they can perform a consistent roundoff tuck and jump to 3 back handsprings with strong technique. 

Level 3 Introductory Tumbling: This class is for athletes who are working on advanced level 3 tumbling skills such as front tucks, aerials, specialty skills into a Roundoff back handspring back tuck. Must have a consistent roundoff tuck as well as a jump to three handsprings to register. Athletes should remain in this class until they can perform a consistent front tuck stepout, jump double back handspring with strong set and a specialty skill through to roundoff double back handspring tuck. 

 

SUMMER CLASS REGISTRATION

August Session: Saturdays: August 11-25th
Class registrations are accepted as long as there is room in the class-if enrolling after the start date class fees will be prorated prior to processing to reflect any missed weeks.

Please note that registration into both sessions will result in a 10% discount on the class fees prior to any fees being processed.
