Helping your Athlete with Performance Anxiety

As we are all gearing up to our first competitions of the season it’s important to remember that our children are not only feeling their own anxiety about performing but probably also reading OUR anxiety as coaches and parents. It is important to keep the goal of every competition in perspective. When we all remember that the goal is to have fun and do our best, then there is less cause for stress and anxiety. We want every Royal athlete to look forward to competing again, so we need to work together as a CheerStrike community to help our athletes lower their anxiety and mentally prepare for competition.
